In the ongoing quest to meet the requirements of our customers and to supply the domestic and foreign market of transformers and electricity substations quality that we differentiate from the competition , CH TRANSFORMERS began in 2010 an external audit process that culminated in late year to obtain certification of ISO 9001:2008, a standard accepted worldwide delivering to our customers the assurance that the products and services we provide not only meet industry standards but also are obtained through controlled processes at all stages . As a reflection of this, we have recently resubmitted an external audit process resulted in the re- certification by our company in our Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2008 .
Moreover, following the trend of the international market , concern for the environment is also a priority for us , a situation that is evident in that we were the first company in Chile that implemented the use of eco- FR3 dielectric oil , 100 % biodegradable and nontoxic. Also, since last year we have embarked on the road to certification of ISO 14001:2004 , a standard that measures the presence of the environmental component in all organizational processes , certification is expected in the first half of 2014 .
Finally , as part of the strategic objectives of our company, we want to incorporate medium-term priority in our activities, actions to ensure occupational health and safety of our employees through the certification of OHSAS 18001:2007 international standard , thus assuming no only a commitment to comply with legal requirements and industry sector, but also to provide and promote a pleasant environment for work and the development of our human resources .
